I started out as a handspun yarn artist in 2012 and moved into creating freeform crochet objects and tapestries
a little further into my fibre obsession.
I enjoy texture, colour and elements of delight and surprise. When I weave, I enjoy simple elements, re-imagined. I have created pieces that mimic natural landscapes, tell stories through the inputs chosen, and explore themes of reclamation. I particularly enjoy upcycling textiles with a story (your child's baby blanket, grandpa's old ties, dad's fave shirt) so that these cherished items can live on forever in your own bespoke piece of heirloom fibre art.
All my tapestries are one of a kind and woven on my own handcrafted, maple looms in my home/studio in Ottawa. Each piece is lovingly created with attention to the smallest details.
